The GALE-50 AC-Powered Studio Fan from Impact creates a wind-like effect in the studio to add movement to a subject and produce dynamic photos. Aim the fan at a subject's hair to simulate a windy beach setting or leaves blowing on a fall afternoon. A single knob operates the variable speed control to dial in the ideal airflow of up to 30 mph wind speed. The GALE 50 can be mounted onto any light stand with a 5/8" stud and tilted to achieve the ideal angle. Please note that this fan has a volume of up to 72 dB/A and is not recommended when shooting video content with live sound.
Variable Speed
A maximum speed of 2600 revolutions per minute can generate winds up to 30 mph and produce a strong breeze. A single on/off switch activates the power and adjusts the fan speed.
16' Power Cable
The integrated 16-foot power cable allows the fan to be raised high on a stand or positioned anywhere on a set, regardless of where the power source is.
Adjustable-Angle Stand Mount
The built-in stand receiver allows the fan to mount onto any light stand with a 5/8" stud. The output airflow can then be directed down low or up high, making it possible to kick up leaves onto a child jumping into the pile or to blow snow down onto a family building a snowman.
